The Variant-Level Inventory feature allows you to configure Option Sets of specific sizes (variants), and use these sets to influence product display order in collections.

This helps ensure that products shown at the top of your collections are available in the sizes your shoppers are most likely looking for.

What You Can Do with Variant-Level Inventory

  • Prioritize products that have specific sizes available

  • Improve user experience by showing more relevant inventory

  • Support merchandising strategies based on key size availability

How It Works:

1. Go to Variant-Level Inventory Settings:

Navigate to your Kimonix Settings page and scroll down to the Variant-Level Inventory section.

2. Configure an Option Set:

Create an option set to define which variant you want to prioritize:

  • Click the ➕ (plus) button to add a new option set

  • Select the variants from the dropdown

  • Click Save

*You can create multiple groups- even with overlapping sizes - but each group will be prioritized separately.

3. Use the Option Set in a Collection:

Now that you’ve configured your variants group(s), you can use them in any collection:

  • Go to the Collection Page

  • Add an inventory-based or variant-based parameter

  • Select your Option Set to prioritize products with those specific sizes in stock

By using this feature, you can ensure shoppers see the most relevant products first - improving their experience and increasing your chances of conversion.
